Services and programs that aim to advance girls and young women on the personal and social levels and extricate them from cycles of risk and distress, by creating opportunities for significant change in their lives and status while emphasizing integration into normative frameworks. We operate 36 Warm Homes for 700 girls and two Women's Centers.

Warm Homes for Teen Girls at Risk

A Warm Home is a therapeutic day center in the community, designed for girls aged 13-16 who are living in situations of risk or distress. The home is run by a professional staff, offering a variety of therapeutic-social programs, two days a week after school. There, the girls form a social group that acts as the lever for them to overcome hardships and grows stronger, on the road to realizing their abilities and expressing their talents. The program operates nationwide with funding and supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs; Northern Goals is the operator in the North.

In order for us to attain measurable, sustainable impact among girls and young women, we have developed a number of other programs:

Empowerment and Talents

This program focuses on essential life skills - including developing interpersonal communication skills, dealing with obstacles and crises, handling conflict and change, making decisions and managing time – while examining topics such as identity, self-worth, capability, gender, civil rights, violence, health and nutrition, and relationships.

Encouraging Education

An afternoon program for girls aged 13-18 who are struggling at school, offering them extra tuition and a preparatory course for further academic/vocational studies.

Economic Independence

This program builds economic and occupational skills, such as preparation for interviews, time-management, domestic financial management, team work, planning, employee rights, career counseling, and entrepreneurship.

Women's Leadership

A program to develop leadership and community involvement.
